Tokyo, December 4, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 <\/b>Terra Drone Corporation, a leading drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology company headquartered in Japan, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement for \u201cTerra Xross 1\u201d with <\/span>S&T NDT S.r.l. (<\/span>hereinafter referred to as \u201c<\/span>S&T\u201d), a<\/span> leading distributor of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and quality control instruments and solutions in Italy. Through this strategic partnership, Terra Drone will introduce its in-house developed products to the Italian market for the first time and expand the distribution of \u201cTerra Xross 1\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drone inspections not only enhance worker safety by keeping them out of hazardous environments but also significantly improve efficiency and cost performance of traditional inspection methods. Terra Drone\u2019s “Terra Xross 1”\u00a0 has achieved stable indoor flight capabilities, offered at approximately one-third the cost of competing products, increasing affordability and accessibility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Italy has a large industrial base, supported by oil & gas and petrochemical industries that have developed as an energy hub in the Mediterranean, as well as by the EU\u2019s third-largest chemical industry (<\/span>Note 1<\/span><\/i>). The country also has a significant testing and NDT market that supports safety and quality management, reaching a scale of around USD 10 billion (<\/span>Note 2<\/span><\/i>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Operating within Italy\u2019s dynamic market, S&T is<\/span> a leading distributor of NDT equipment and quality control instruments and solutions, including commercial drones. Since 2017, the company has established a proven track record in drone distribution, demonstrating\u00a0 extensive experience not only in instrument supply but also in providing comprehensive technical support and consulting services within the NDT sector.
