Under the theme “Challenges and Opportunities in Global Harmonization and Interoperability of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM),” this symposium marked the first ICAO-sponsored event dedicated to AAMs. Key stakeholders from industry, academia, government, and international organizations gathered to explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding the widespread adoption of new mobility concepts and infrastructures.
A pivotal panel session, themed “Innovation Powered by AAM,” focused on the importance of technological innovation in advancing the AAM market. Participants discussed strategies for fostering innovation while harmonizing with existing global AAM regulations, emphasizing that continued innovation is essential for the sustainable growth of the AAM sector.
