Terra Drone Signs Distribution Agreement with Opticon Benelux for “Terra Xross 1”

July 1, 2025

Tokyo, July 1, 2025Terra Drone Corporation, a leading drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology company headquartered in Japan, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement for “Terra Xross 1” with Opticon Benelux Naarden B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “Opticon Benelux”), a renowned distributor of professional inspection equipment in the Netherlands. Through this strategic partnership, Terra Drone and Opticon Benelux will expand the distribution of “Terra Xross 1” in (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg).

Drone inspections not only enhance worker safety by keeping them out of hazardous environments but also significantly improve efficiency and cost performance of traditional inspection methods. Terra Drone has achieved stable indoor flight performance with the “Terra Xross 1” while offering it at approximately one-third the price of competing products, making it more affordable and accessible.

Opticon Benelux is a supplier of remote visual inspection equipment, including drones. The company has a proven track record in RVI (Remote Visual Inspection) since 1978 and has extensive experience with equipment for inspections in industrial confined spaces. Over the years, Opticon Benelux has successfully delivered many solutions to customers such as Shell, Jan de Nul and KLM, demonstrating its in-depth expertise in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

Going forward, Terra Drone and Opticon Benelux will work together to broaden the reach of “Terra Xross 1” which is revolutionizing the indoor inspection industry by making drone technology more accessible to a wider customer base that has been hesitant to adopt it due to concerns over unstable flight performance and high price. Under this agreement, Terra Drone and Opticon Benelux will provide enhanced and more accessible customer support.

The impact of this project on Terra Drone’s consolidated financial results for the FY2025 is expected to be minimal. Should any matters requiring disclosure arise in the future, an announcement will be made without delay.

Rob Dikkerboom, CEO of Opticon Benelux stated: We are very grateful for this collaboration and look forward to building a mutually beneficial partnership over the coming years.
We chose to collaborate with Terra Drone partly because of the compact design of the Terra Xross 1 drone and the presence of a 360-degree Lidar and an optional tether. Furthermore, we believe that the exceptional price-quality ratio significantly reduces the investment threshold for our customers.
