Tokyo, September 9, 2025 – Terra Drone Corporation, a leading drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology company headquartered in Japan, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement for “Terra Xross 1” with Taiwan Instrument Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Taiwan Instrument”), one of the largest distributors of industrial precision instruments in Taiwan, operating five offices nationwide. Through this strategic partnership, Terra Drone will expand the sales channels in Taiwan and accelerate the market penetration of “Terra Xross 1”.
Drone inspections not only enhance worker safety by keeping them out of hazardous environments but also significantly improve efficiency and cost performance of traditional inspection methods. Terra Drone has achieved stable indoor flight performance with the “Terra Xross 1” while offering it at approximately one-third the price of competing products, making it more affordable and accessible.
Taiwan Instrument is a distributor of geospatial and industrial instruments in Taiwan. Over the decades, the company has been highly recognized for providing reliable and innovative solutions to the country’s critical infrastructure sectors. Its key customers include major government agencies such as Taiwan Power Company, the Central Surveying Bureau, the Taipei Water Department, and the Forestry Bureau under the Council of Agriculture. By delivering precise solutions to both public and private sectors, Taiwan Instrument has established itself as a strong partner supporting the development of Taiwan’s industrial surveying and inspection fields.
Going forward, Terra Drone will collaborate with Taiwan Instrument to promote the sales of “Terra Xross 1,” strengthening its approach to major government agencies in Taiwan that have been hesitant to adopt drones due to concerns over unstable flight performance and high costs. This initiative will help drive the adoption of drone technology in the indoor inspection of critical infrastructure. Furthermore, under this agreement, both companies will work to provide more convenient and accessible customer support within Taiwan.
The impact of this project on Terra Drone’s consolidated financial results for the FY2025 is expected to be minimal. Should any matters requiring disclosure arise in the future, an announcement will be made without delay.
