Terra Drone Signs Distribution Agreement with UAS VOSS for “Terra Xross 1”

February 17, 2026

Tokyo, February 17, 2025 – Terra Drone Corporation, a leading drone and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology company headquartered in Japan, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement for “Terra Xross 1” with UAS VOSS AS (hereinafter referred to as “UAS VOSS”), a premier provider of world-class industrial drone solutions in Norway. Through this strategic partnership, Terra Drone and UAS VOSS will expand the distribution of “Terra Xross 1” across Scandinavia.

Drone inspections not only enhance worker safety by keeping them out of hazardous environments but also significantly improve efficiency and cost performance of traditional inspection methods. Terra Drone has achieved stable indoor flight

performance with the “Terra Xross 1” while offering it at approximately one-third the price of competing products, making it more affordable and accessible.

Norway is a major power nation where hydropower accounts for around 90% of electricity generation, creating sustained demand for maintenance and inspection across critical infrastructure such as power plants and transmission & distribution assets (Note 1). In addition, the oil and natural gas industry is a cornerstone sector, accounting for approximately 60% of the total value of Norway’s exports of goods in 2024, and the country continues to operate a large number of producing oil and gas fields (Note 2, Note 3). Against this backdrop—particularly in the offshore sector—there is a growing need to upgrade equipment inspection practices that support safety and quality. In both the power and offshore industries, inspection needs are significant in environments where on-site access entails higher risk for workers, such as turbine halls, cable tunnels, indoor substation facilities, and confined compartments within offshore installations—making Norway a market with strong potential for indoor inspection drones.

UAS VOSS is a distributor of industrial drone solutions with specialized inspection sensors. The company has a proven track record of drone distribution since 2022 with extensive experience in the smart grid and infrastructure inspection sector.
Over the years, UAS VOSS has built a proven track record by delivering high-end solutions to major players in the electric power and offshore industries. Their success in large-scale mapping and infrastructure inspection projects underscores their deep-rooted expertise in the energy sector, with a customer base that includes medium and large-scale grid operators such as Sygnir, Hydro, Eviny, and Tendranett.
Notably, their technical excellence was internationally recognized in 2025 when they were awarded “Best Specialty Drone Operator 2025 – Norway” at the Scandinavian Business Awards hosted by EU Business News. In addition, UAS VOSS is collaborating with Vinde TT on offshore drone inspection services—a new partnership that both parties look forward to developing, with the aim of creating synergies in 2026.

Going forward, Terra Drone and UAS VOSS will work together to broaden the reach of “Terra Xross 1” which is revolutionizing the indoor inspection industry by making drone technology more accessible to a wider customer base that has been hesitant to adopt it due to concerns over unstable flight performance and high price. Under this agreement, Terra Drone and UAS VOSS will provide enhanced and more accessible customer support.

Representative’s comment

Kenneth Kleppe, CEO of UAS VOSS stated:

We look forward to working with Terra Drone, and have great faith in the Terra Xross 1 and future products from Terra Drone. Being a distributor for Terra Drone in the Nordics is something we see potential in, and with an excellent product and good cooperation with Terra Drone, we look forward to the years to come. Xross 1 is a drone that will compete with other established brands on the market, but with a much better price point, as well as innovative solutions for new markets.
